AGU Media, DOHA (QAT): The Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation recently hosted a five-day Common Training Camp for acrobatic gymnastics coaches in Almaty from July 11-15 under a FIG ACRO Technical Committee expert Mr. Yurii GOLIAK from UKR to develop the sport in the country.
In acrobatic gymnastics, a pair consists of a base and a top.
The sport combines the beauty of dance with the strength and agility of acrobatics. Routines are choreographed to music and consist of dance, tumbling, and partner skills.
At the elite level, each pair or group performs a balance, dynamic and combined routine. Pyramids and partner holds the balance routine while synchronised tumbling and intricate flight elements define the dynamic exercise.
A women’s group is comprised of a base, middle and top partner and the men’s has a base, two middle partners and one top partner.
AGU wants to thank Mrs. Aigul Dukenbayeva the President of AGU ACRO Technical Committee and the Secretary General of Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation for the big support gives to the development of ACRO Gymnastics in Asia.
