AGU Conducts Trampoline Gymnastics Coaching Camp in Tashkent
August 18, 2024 – Tashkent, Uzbekistan The Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) successfully organized a Trampoline Gymnastics (TRA) coaching camp from August 14 to 18, 2024, at the Gymnastics Sport Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The camp brought together coaches from Kyrgyzstan, India, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan for an in-depth program aimed at enhancing their coaching techniques in trampoline gymnastics.
Led by renowned expert Dmitri Poliaroush, the camp featured both theoretical and practical sessions. During the theoretical discussions, the following key topics were covered:
– A review of the updated 2025-2028 FIG rules.
– Consultations on the preparation and participation of gymnasts in international competitions for 2024-2025.
– Best practices for organizing effective training programs for gymnasts.
– Methodological recommendations on applying modern training methods in accordance with the latest FIG rules.
In the practical sessions, participating coaches observed and practiced new techniques of technical and tactical skills. Using gymnasts from the participating nations as examples, Poliaroush demonstrated the application of modern methods in real-time training scenarios. The camp concluded with a friendly competition among the gymnasts, providing a platform for the coaches to witness the effectiveness of the newly taught techniques.
