AGU Welcomes New Category 1 Judges in MAG and WAG Following FIG International Course Exams

Doha, Qatar – April 20, 2025  The Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) is proud to announce that several distinguished judges from Asia have been awarded Category 1 status following the FIG International Course Exams for the new cycle.

In Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), two judges—Ravshanbek Mirzaev from Uzbekistan and Chun Chieh Tung from Chinese Taipei—have achieved Category 1 status, demonstrating exceptional expertise and skill. This accomplishment highlights the continued growth and strength of Asian gymnastics on the global stage.

AGU Technical Committee President Han Yoon Soo has also successfully retained his Category 1 status in MAG, further solidifying his leadership within the sport.

In Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Stella Evgenievna from Uzbekistan has been recognized with Category 1 status. Additionally, Zhu Jieya and Zhou Qiurui from China have also achieved Category 1 status, further enhancing the presence of Asian judges in international competitions.
