Japan’s Daiki Hashimoto led the All-Around standings with 83.065, followed closely by China’s Zhang Boheng, who placed third. Their head-to-head battle once again highlighted the region’s technical precision and consistency.
On floor, Carlos Yulo of the Philippines dazzled with explosive tumbling to claim a finals spot, while Hashimoto and China’s Yang Jiaxing followed close behind.
On pommel horse, Chinese veteran Zou Jingyuan secured qualification among the top scorers with calm mastery, joined by Japan’s Kazuma Kaya, showing Asia’s continued depth on the event.
On rings, China’s Lan Xingyu dominated with 14.766, a performance marked by effortless strength and control.
Vault qualification saw Shin Jeahwan of Korea safely through after two solid attempts, maintaining his reputation as one of the most consistent vaulters on the circuit.
Parallel bars once again belonged to Zou Jingyuan, whose elegant lines and unmatched difficulty placed him at the top of the standings, extending China’s legacy on the apparatus.
Finally, on high bar, Japan’s Kenta Kojima and China’s Zhang Boheng both advanced, each showing remarkable precision in one of the competition’s most unforgiving events.
With finalists on every apparatus, Asia’s gymnasts have turned Jakarta into their arena — a display not just of medals in waiting, but of the technical mastery that continues to redefine men’s artistic gymnastics.
