Champions Crowned at the Women’s Senior Gymnastics Finals in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – May 29, 2024 – The Artistic Women’s Senior Finals at the Uzbekistan Gymnastics Championship concluded with outstanding performances, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of gymnasts from across Asia. The finals were held across four apparatus: Vault, Balance Beam, Floor Exercise, and Uneven Bars, each event demonstrating the athletes’ skill and artistry.

Vault Finals: Dipa Karmakar of India delivered a stunning performance to secure the top spot with a score of 13.566. Kim Son Hyang from North Korea closely followed with a score of 13.466, and her teammate Jo Kyong Byol earned third place with 12.966.

Balance Beam Finals: Chinese gymnasts dominated the Balance Beam event. Qin Xinyi achieved the highest score of 13.800, with her compatriot Chen Xinyi just behind at 13.700. North Korea’s Kim Son Hyang continued her strong showing in the competition by securing third place with a score of 13.166.

Floor Exercise Finals: Emma Malabuyo from the Philippines captivated the judges and audience with her elegant and powerful routine, earning a score of 13.300 to take first place. Chen Xinyi from China followed with 13.133, and Aida Bauyrzhanova from Kazakhstan secured third place with a score of 13.066.

Uneven Bars Finals: Yang Fanyuwei of China displayed remarkable precision and skill on the Uneven Bars, earning the highest score of the finals with 14.566. Jon Jang Mi from North Korea achieved second place with a score of 13.366, while Levi Ruivivar from the Philippines claimed third place with 13.100.
