CHINA dominate the Individual Trampoline WC A ESP June 16-17, 2012

Dong DongDoha (QAT), AGU Office, June 21, 2012: China dominate the individual Trampoline for men`s and women`s which gives a big chance to dominate the Olympic Games 2012; the Chinese Dong Dong and Huang Shanshan won the Men’s and Women’s Individual Trampoline Gymnastics titles respectively at last weekend’s FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup A held in Albacete (ESP) during June 16 – 17, 2012. Both qualified first and defeated their compatriots Tu Xiao (Men’s) and Li Dan (Women’s) for the Gold. Masaki Ito took the Men’s Bronze for Japan and Karen Cockburn of Canada outscored Tatsiana Piatrenia (BLR) by a narrow margin for the Women’s podium. Spain’s Ángel Hernández, who made his official elite-level debut in Albacete, scored 54.195 to finish sixth.

The Men’s Synchronised event saw French pair Grégoires Pennes and Sébastien Martiny victorious over top qualifiers Dong Dong and Tu Xiao, with Ukraine’s Dmytro Byedyevkin and Maksym Volianskyi in third.

China’s Women’s pair of Lil Dan and Zhong Xingping, who delivered brilliant performances in Qualifications, were unable to finish their routine in the Final and finished last. While Tatsiana Piatrenia and Sviatlana Makshtarova of Belarus won the title, Ukraine’s Natalia Moskvina and Maryna Kyiko, and Switzerland’s Sylvie Wirth and Simone Scherer took the Silver and Bronze respectively. Spaniards Laura Garcia Martinez and Cristina Sainz Bernabeu finished fifth (27.700).
