China National Individual Championships of Artistic Gymnastics 2011 in Hong Kong

Doha (QAT) AGU Office December 28, 2012: With thousands of audiences stood up to applaud, the China National Individual Championships of Artistic Gymnastics 2011 finally ended on 20 November 2011. It was the first time for Hong Kong to host such a large national event in this tiny but beautiful city located in the southern part of China. The competition which took place from 17 to 20 November 2011 at Ma On Shan Sports Centre, attracted over 300 men and women gymnasts and judges from a total of 23 Chinese provinces including Hong Kong.
The highlight of the event was the final round on 19 and 20 November when gymnasts were striving for their best to compete for medals. With the support from the State Sports General Administration of China, it was a valuable opportunity for Hong Kong to have organized one of the symbolic gymnastics championships in Asia.
