Dong aiming for glory at Trampoline World Championships

AGU Media, DOHA (QAT): China’s Dong Dong, who shares the record for most World medals in Individual Trampoline by winning six times with Alexander Moskalenko, may surpass the Russian if the 2012 Olympic champion wins the title at the 2017 Trampoline World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, which starts on Thursday.
Interestingly, the competition is expected to be tight in the Chinese team, which boasts the last three world champions in Dong (2013), Tu Xiao (2014) and Gao Lei (2015), but it is Belarus’s Olympic champion Uladzislau Hancharou will be the man to beat.
Fresh off their second title at The World Games in Wroclaw, Poland, Dong and Tu will also be competing for a fifth world crown in synchronised trampoline. The duo has four titles under their belt, same as Moskalenko.
