Double Delight for China as Zhang and Qin Shine in Jecheon Vault and Bars Finals

Jecheon, Korea – June 14, 2025 The women’s artistic gymnastics finals at the 2025 Asian Championships in Jecheon delivered breathtaking performances as Asia’s finest gymnasts battled it out for gold in the Vault and Uneven Bars events.

China’s Zhang Yihan led the charge in the vault final, combining power and precision to take the top spot with a total score of 13.650. Hot on her heels was Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, whose consistency across both vaults earned her a well-deserved silver medal with 13.566. India’s Pranati Nayak rounded out the podium, scoring 12.866 to claim bronze and continue her steady presence on the continental stage.

On the uneven bars, it was another Chinese gymnast who stole the spotlight. Qin Xinyi delivered a composed and technically polished routine, scoring 13.633 to take the gold. Japan’s Nakamura Haruka was just a hair behind, earning 13.600 for silver after a strong display of difficulty and clean lines. Bronze went once again to China, with Zhang Yihan returning to the podium with a score of 13.266, solidifying her status as one of the event’s standout performers.
