Draw for 2019 Senior & Junior Asian RG Championships held
DOHA (QAT) AGU Office: The 11th Senior and 17th Junior Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, which will have team and individual competitions, will be held in Pattaya (Thailand) from June 20-23.
A total of 17 and 15 teams will take part in the four-day event in the senior and junior competitions respectively, which will be held simultaneously.
Meanwhile, the draw of lots for both the competitions was conducted by Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) Vice-President Ruslan Mustaev and AGU RG TC President Gyozal Filippova recently.
Mongolia, Korea Republic, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, DPR Korea, Hong Kong China, Kyrgystan, Japan, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Singapore, China and Turkmenistan were in the starting order for the senior event.
The starting order (Group All-Around and Qualification for Ball Finals) include DPR Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Malaysia and Korea Republic.
The starting order (Hoop and Club): Thailand, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, Japan, China, Philippines, Uzbekistan, DPR Korea, Kazakhstan and Korea Republic.
In the juniors section, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Chinese Taipei, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kygystan, Hong Kong China, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Korea Republic and Singapore are in the starting order of the competition.
The group for All Around and qualification for finals (Hoop) will have Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Uzbekistan and Malaysia while the group for All Around and qualification for Ribbon finals on June 21 will have Mongolia, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Japan, China and Singapore are in the pecking order.
These will be followed by individual apparatus finals and group finals of Hoop and Ribbons will be held on June 22 & 23 respectively.
