Impressive Performances at the Senior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championship in Tashkent

18 May 2024, Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The Senior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championship concluded with a series of spectacular performances from some of the continent’s most talented gymnasts. Held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the championship highlighted the high skill level and competitive spirit of athletes from various Asian countries. Below are the detailed results from the finals of key apparatus events.

Floor Exercise:
Carlos Yulo of the Philippines showcased his exceptional talent, securing the gold medal with a score of 14.933. His routine was marked by high difficulty and flawless execution. Milad Karimi from Kazakhstan followed closely, earning the silver with a score of 14.600, demonstrating both power and precision. The bronze medal went to China’s Yang Yanzhi, who scored 14.200 with his elegant and dynamic routine.

Pommel Horse:
Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan dominated the Pommel Horse final with an outstanding routine, achieving the gold medal with a score of 15.600. His performance was characterized by smooth transitions and complex elements. Abdulla Azimov of Uzbekistan secured the silver medal with a score of 14.633, showcasing excellent control and rhythm. Ahmad Abu Al Soud from Jordan earned the bronze medal with a score of 14.633 as well, but with a slightly lower execution score, placing him third.

Rings:
In the Rings final, China’s Yin Dehang emerged victorious with a gold-medal-winning score of 14.200, showcasing immense strength and stability. Van Khanh Phong Nguyen from Vietnam and China’s Yang Yanzhi both scored 14.166, earning them a shared silver medal. Nguyen’s routine was notable for its strength elements, while Yang’s performance stood out for his impeccable form and control.
