Iraq Gymnastics Federation Elects New Executive Committee Under International Supervision
The Iraq Gymnastics Federation has announced the election of its new Executive Committee following the electoral process held on 30 October 2025 in Baghdad. The elections marked an important step for the Federation as it prepares for a new administrative term focused on strengthening gymnastics programs and enhancing cooperation at regional and international levels.
The voting was conducted under the direct supervision and presence of representatives from the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), alongside officials from the National Olympic Committee of Iraq and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Their attendance affirmed the transparency of the process and the Federation’s commitment to upholding internationally recognized governance standards.
Following the conclusion of the elections, a nine-member Executive Committee was confirmed:

The newly elected committee brings together a diverse group of administrators who will guide the Federation’s vision for the years ahead. In correspondence shared with the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU), the Iraq Gymnastics Federation expressed appreciation for the presence and support of FIG representatives during the electoral process, acknowledging their role in ensuring fairness and compliance with global norms.
