Japan Dominate The AG1 And China The Senior Events Of The 3rd AER Asian Championships 2012

Doha (QAT): AGU Office November 03, 2012: The 3rd AER Asian Championships that will held in Palembang in Indonesia during the period from 17 to 21 October 2012 with Age Group 1 and Senior Competition parallel with South Sumatera Governor Cup Palembang Indonesia under the Chairman of Mr. Dhennie Zainal

Competition Dates October 18 & 19

Participant  11 National Federations – Asia Gymnastics Union Member: China, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Mongolia,   Philippines, Srilanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia.

Venue   Gymnastics Hall Ranau – Jakabaring Palembang South Sumatera Indonesia
With 1500 seats for spectators
1500 spectators come and go to see the competition.

Scoring system: Manual system with 8 TV for score publishing and showed the video recording.

Publication: 17 media televisions and press reporting

Medical  Services 2 Official doctors and 2 paramedics in the hall + 1 ambulance for emergency situation standby out of the hall.

Japan dominate this level with 3 Gold and 3 silver medals followed by Mongolia with one gold medal; then Indonesia with 1 silver, Thailand with 2 bronze medals and India and Srilanka with one bronze medal

China Dominate the senior event with 2 gold and 2 silver medals following by Vietnam with 2 gold and 1 silver medals; then Japan with one silver and one bronze medals; Iran with one silver; Indonesia with 2 bronze medals and finally Mongolia with 1 bronze medal.
