Malaysia Elects New Gymnastics Federation Executive Board for 2025–2027 Term
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 14 June 2025The Malaysian Gymnastics Federation has officially concluded its Executive Board elections for the 2025–2027 term. The voting process, overseen by the Olympic Council of Malaysia, resulted in the appointment of a new leadership team committed to advancing gymnastics across the nation.
Election Results:
- President: En. Kau Git Kaur was elected as President with 38 votes.
- Deputy President: Cik Petrina Low Lai Hun secured the role with 37 votes.
- Vice Presidents (3 positions):
- En. Hassan A. Rahman (63 votes)
- En. Mohd Asrul Fitri Muhamad Sutan Mudo (40 votes)
- Pn. Wong Chiew Lee (36 votes)
- Treasurer: En. Johnny Tan Seng Hock was elected with 37 votes.
In addition to the elected positions, Mr. Loke Yik Siang has been officially appointed by the President as Secretary General of the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation. Mr. Loke is expected to bring valuable administrative expertise and continuity to the Federation’s operations.
