Opening Ceremony of the Junior Asian Championships in Kazakhstan 2016
The 14th Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from 28 April to 01 May 2016.
The opening ceremony took place on 27 April after the podium training at the Daulet National Tennis Center with the presence of the following personality:
Shayakhmetova Umut – President of Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation
Daniyar Abulgazin – General Secretary NOC
Aigul Dukenbayeva – Secretary General of Kazakhstan Gymnastics Federation
Rica Yamamoto – AGU Technical Delegate
Aliya Yussupova – Head coach of the national rhythmic gymnastics Kazakhstan
In addition of all the members of Gymnastics Federation of Kazakhstan and the delegation memebers of the participant federations.
13 nations took part such as Hong Kong; Chinese Taipei; India; Korea; Kyrgyzstan; Japan; Uzbekistan; Kazakhstan, Malaysia, North Korea, Singapore, Mongolia and Thailand.
Witness 4 days of thrilling competition as gymnasts compete for prestigious Asian titles for junior to secure their place amongst the future of the Rhythmic Gymnastics in their countries.
The competition schedule will comprise 2 days of qualification events followed by 2 days of finals where gymnasts will compete in team, all around, individual apparatus events and group finals.
