Parkour Coaches Gather in Ulaanbaatar for AGU Training Camp
The Asian Gymnastics Union, together with the Mongolian Gymnastics Federation, successfully wrapped up the AGU Common Training Camp for Parkour Coaches held from 6–10 August 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
For five days, the National Gymnastics Training Center and its outdoor parkour park welcomed 26 participants from Korea, Jordan, and Mongolia. The group included coaches, gymnasts, organizers, and an international expert, who came together to exchange knowledge and strengthen parkour development across Asia.
The camp was led by Mr. Kim Jiho, member of the AGU Parkour Gymnastics Technical Commission, who guided sessions ranging from routine construction and safety to judging and performance preparation. Each day blended theory with practical training, ending with team and individual showcases that highlighted the progress made throughout the week.
The camp also gained attention locally, with coverage on Mongolian National Broadcaster and updates shared through the Mongolian Gymnastics Federation’s social media platforms.
Reflecting on the event, Mr. Galbadrakh Yeruulbat, Secretary General and CEO of the Mongolian Gymnastics Federation, thanked AGU for its support and expressed hope to host similar camps twice a year to continue building momentum for parkour in the region.
This successful initiative marks another step forward in AGU’s mission to grow parkour gymnastics, empower coaches, and create more opportunities for collaboration among Asian federations.
