QGF CHOSEN TO AWARD BY THE TITLE THE IDEAL FEDERATION IN QATAR SOP 2012
AGU Office Doha (QAT), June 11, 2012: Qatar Olympic committee (QOC) the governing sport body has organised the 2011 – 2012 sport season closing ceremony, the annual sport ceremony bring together a number of senior sport officials in the country from the QOC, sport federations , clubs and honorees, where creative and talented persons shall be honored in recognition of their well-praised achievements in sport field.
Earlier last week, the QOC , the governing sport body and the Qatar Sports Press Committee (QSPC) have jointly announced the names of best sport characters, athletes and authorities who will be honored during the function.
In recognition to their tangible achievements in the country’s sport career, Qatar Gymnastics Federation (QGF) received the Ideal Federation Award, which is the highest and the best compensation offered by Qatar Olympic Committee in the sport season 2011 -2012. Meanwhile Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation, Qatar Basketball Federation, Qatar Association of Athletics Federation will collectively bag the golden federation Award.
Likewise a number of athletes were announced winners of multiple Awards as best athletes in the sport season 2011 -2012 including, Shaden Mahmoud Wahdan (gymnastics) who made a great performance during Arab Games held in Doha in December 2011 with 2 Gold 2 Silver and one bronze medals.
Mr.Ali Al-Hitmi the president of Qatar Gymnastics Federation announced that it was a great effort achieved from Our federation to get this great title.

In this occasion Mr.Ali Al-Hitmi oriented his thankful words to the Olympic committee to choose our federation as the ideal one in this year 2012 and he said : this is normal thing to we get this prize cause we worth it.
