Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Competition UZB 2013
DOHA (QAT), AGU Office, June 06, 2013: The Team of Uzbekistan clinched the 2013 Asian Championship Team title in Rhythmic Gymnastics on Thursday in Tashkent (UZB).
The Uzbekistan Team, composed of 2013 Asian Championship participants FILIPPOVA Mayya, DAVIDOVA Valerlya, SHAMSIEVA Maftuna and RAKHMATOVA Djamila garnered a 170.783 point total that placed them significantly ahead of the field. KOREA took the Silver with a score of 165.715, followed by PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC of CHINA in third (163.450).
Other countries participating in the Team competition were Korea, China, Thailand and Kyrgyzstan.

In a competition featuring 36 gymnasts from 11 countries, SOEN Yeon Jae (KOR) qualified at the top for the Individual All-around Final scheduled in the Asian Championship with 85. 54.866 points, she currently sits comfortably ahead of her competitors, followed by DENG Senyue of China (53.817) and then RAKHMATOVA Djamila of UZB (53.400).
