Taishan Sports ties up with AGU as official partner

Doha (Qatar), AGU Office: The Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) recently signed an agreement with China-based Taishan Sports Equipment Co. Ltd, which will provide the Asian body with the various apparatus.
“We’re really happy to tie-up with Taishan. It’s a red-letter day for us as AGU and its members will be benefited from this agreement,” said AGU President Abdul Rahman Al Shathri at the Executive Meeting here last week. “They’re an FIG-accredited company and will provide us with the equipments.”
Founded in June, 1978, Taishan has developed into a comprehensive and specialised sports industry which integrates R&D, production and sales and service together.
“It’s an honour to be a part of AGU and associated with the top gymnasts who will be using our brand in all competitions,” said Taishan Sports Industry Group Vice-President Bian Qingfeng.
Taishan, which boasts of certifications from other international sports bodies, was the largest equipment supplier for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and 26th Summer Universiade Shenzhen.
“I hope all our Asian member associations will be benefitted from this tie-up as we can now provide them with the equipments for the competitions,” said Al Shathri.
The delegates were introduced to the Executive Committee Members after the meeting followed by a video presentation.
