Thailand hosted a Common Training Camp for Trampoline Coaches during 19-23 June 2012
Doha (QAT) AGU office July 1, 2012: Thailand hosted a successful Common Training Camp for Trampoline Coaches, this project is the first activity of AGU Development Project for the year 2012 which was launched after less than five years in cooperation between the AGU and FIG. The courses aim to help the Asian Countries in providing elite group of All Gymnastics Disciplines Coaches and Judges through the development of their abilities to perform their role effectively at all levels in their countries.
Thailand has hosted a successful common training camp for Trampoline Coaches during the period from 19-23 June 2012. The Course had a significant and big participation with 31 participants from 13 Countries: Philippines, Vietnam, Lebanon, Nepal, Korea, Bangladesh, Qatar, Singapore, Hong Kong , Malaysia, Uzbekistan, China and Thailand.
The courses was conducted by the expert, Ms. Wang Ying from China who has explain the latest modern training methods. The participants expressed admiration in these courses that contribute actively to the development of the discipline in their countries.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Shathri stated that we are working very hard to build gymnastics community and to make all gymnastics disciplines strong, He said that many Asian countries still do not have Trampoline Disciplines or have but not active, Has expressed his confidence that these courses will contribute to the development gymnastics Asia and the world in the near, medium and long term.
The course was held over four days with two session per day, The expert has explained many coaches skill such as Assisted Ground Body Postures Training and Basic Bed Training , Bouncing Postures Practices, The Postures of Somersault and Corresponding Training Methods, The Methods, Key points and Functions of Assisted Bed Training, Body Shape Training, The Key points of the Basic Movements of Double Somersault and The Methods and Functions of Particular Body Exercises.
The Participants and the AGU have expressed their thanks for Thailand Gymnastics Federation for the great organization and the kindness of the working staff. AGU President thanked Mr. Sawat Sopa – President of the Gymnastics Association of Thailand and his Secretary General Mr. Srayuth Patanasak for organizing the course and for his commitment to attend the opening and closing ceremony.
