THE INTERNATIONAL COURSE “JOIN THE GYMNAESTRADA” KOREA, FEBRUARY 4TH -7TH 2010
The FIG GFA Committee and the Asian Gymnastics Union, expect to organize the “Join the Gymnaestrada” course being held during 4th to 7th February 2010, in Korea.
The World Gymnaestrada, wish is organised every fourth year, is open for all FIG Member federations and we had at our last event, 2007 in Dornbirn, AUT, 22 000 gymnasts representing 53 FIG Member Federations. This is the biggest FIG event and it is one of the most important sportive events of the world.
The next World Gymnaestrada will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland 10-16 July 2011. Our goal is to have more FIG Member Federations participating and we hope that we with this course can create more interest for participation.
This international course, offers a great opportunity for your representatives to learn about the World Gymnaestrada and the best way to participate in the event. Your representative(s) will gain many practical tips and ideas to assist them in preparing groups for participation in the 2011 World Gymnaestrada. Both coaches and managers are invited to participate.
We will treat the following theoretical and practical subjects:
• The World Gymnaestrada: Philosophy, Objectives and Program
• The 14th World Gymnaestrada, Lausanne 2011
• FIG Gymnastics for All Committee Activities & Developments, Update
• Group Performances within Apparatus, Gymnastics & Dance
• Large Group Performances
• Video presentations and analysis

We will also have representatives from the Organising committee Lausanne 2011 that can give us specific information about the event 2011.
Cost: The FIG Gymnastics for All committee will pay accommodation in single room and full board for one participant per participating FIG Member Federation.
All participants/FIG Member Federations have to pay own travel expenses and cost for early arrival or late departure. All sightseeing’s have also to be paid by the participants/FIG Member Federations.
All FIG Member Federations have the possibility to register more than one participant but all costs are then for the participant/ FIG Member Federation. The cost for every extra participant is xxxxCHF. This should be paid after receiving the confirmation.

Confirmation: After registration a confirmation will be sent to the participants. In the confirmation we will give more information about the course.
