TRA Training Camp in Manila: Five Days of Sharing and Growth
From 22 to 26 September 2025, Manila turned into a home for Trampoline Gymnastics as the Asian Gymnastics Union hosted its TRA Training Camp, led by expert Sai Fu Fung. Coaches and gymnasts from the Philippines, Kazakhstan, India, and Hong Kong came together for five inspiring days of learning and exchange.
More than 30 hours of sessions mixed knowledge with practice. Off the mats, everyone talked about the big issues shaping the sport—the new Code of Points, safeguarding and child protection, anti-doping, and safe environments in gymnastics. On the mats, the focus was on Trampoline, Tumbling, and Double Mini-Trampoline: drilling routines, polishing execution, and experimenting with techniques that bring out the best in athletes.
The atmosphere was lively and collaborative. Ideas were exchanged, drills tested, and every session ended with new takeaways for both coaches and gymnasts.
As Sai Fu Fung shared: “It’s not just about improving technique. It’s about sharing experiences and building a stronger community together.”
The camp in Manila showed that when passion, expertise, and teamwork come together, gymnastics in Asia takes another step forward.
