Two GOLD MEDALS FOR ASIA IN QATAR WORLD CHALLENGE CUP 2016

AGU Office, Doha (QAT) March 30, 2016: Gymnasts from 17 different countries won event titles as finals got underway at the Doha World Challenge Cup Friday March 25, 2016 in Qatar.
Asia got one Gold medals with the young Chinese gymnast HUANG Mingqi in vault and one gold medal for the Japanese MAENO Fuya in high bar, in addition of one bronze medal to the Vietnam gymnast PHAM Phuoc Hung in Parallel Bars. No medals for the Women’s.
The World Champion HYPOLITO Diego BRA lit up the Aspire Dome with his incredible skills on Floor. HYPOLITO’s  15.175 score (6.8 difficulty) not easily win the First Gold Medal of the World Cup of Qatar since last year won the silver, ahead of the Slovenian KLAVORA Rok with (15.000) and Britain OLDHAM Sam (14.925).
The champion of the last year Doha 2015 the Armenia’s Harutym Merdinyan dominate the Pommel horse, hit his 6.7 difficulty routine for the second day in a row to win gold (15.675), followed by SELIGMAN Robert (CRO, 15.300) and STEPKO Oleg AZE and BERTONCELJ Saso SLO with 15.000.
The number one in the world ranking list in Rings PETROUNIAS Eleftherios (GRE) win the Rings with a total (15.875) fellow by the two Armenian’s DAVTYAN Vahagn with 15.800 and TOVMASYAN Artur third with (15.775)
Suprized by the Chinese gymnast HUANG Mingqi with two  excellent vault of D: 6,00 in the men’s Vault competition with (15.200 average) exceptionally clean form on vault. Second REMKES Christopher AUS with (14.950 average) and then HYPOLITO Diego BRA (14.900 average), who claimed bronze.
No surprise in the Parallel Bars for the first and second places STEPKO Oleg AZE as last year who took first place with (15.825) and LARDUET Manrique CUB took the second with (15.775). Then PHAM Phuoc Hung  VIE took the bronze with (15.350).
MAENO Fuya JPN has benefits the finals with 15.175 pts. Second WATSON Ashley (GBR) 15.050 pts and MOZNIK Marijo CRO go for the silver with 14.850 – last year champion CORDOBA Nicolas ARG fault and take the six position
For Women’s Artistic Gymnastics
Suisse’s STEINGRUBER Giulia improved to take the gold on vault (14.712 average). Slovenian’s BELAK Teja delivered for the silver (14.337 average), while KYSSELEF Tjasa (SLO) settled for bronze (14.087).
Number one in the Uneven Bars in 2015, ADLERTEG Jonna (SWE) took gold on Uneven Bars (14.925) despite that she was injured during the dismount. ANDRADE Rebeca (BRA) took the bronze medal with a 14.250 in finals, while MARTINS Filipa (POR) won bronze (13.625).
Olympic Champion Catalina PONOR showed clean exercises on Beam with (14.650) followed by the Brazilian’s LEE DE ARAUJO Thauany the silver (14.150), then MARTINS Filipa POR who got bronze with (13.900) – surprize with the fault of STEINGRUBER Giulia SUI
