AGU Media, DOHA (QAT): Vietnam men’s artistic team won the team gold with 319.05 points followed by the hosts Malaysia and while the Philippines at the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Monday.

The team of Dang Nam, Dinh Phuong Thanh, Do Vu Hung, Le Thanh Tung, Pham Phuoc Hung and Tran Dinh Vuong garnered 319.05 points to pip the hosts, who collected 305.55 followed by the Filipinos (293.20).

Malaysia had last won a team bronze at the 2007 Korat Games.

However, the Malaysian women artistic team led by Farah Ann Hadi did a shade better by defending their team gold earned two years ago.

The team of Farah, Tan Ing Yueh, Tracie Ang, Lavinia Jayadev, Nur Azira Aziri, Nur Eli Ellina Azmi retained the title with 200.950 points.

Singapore came second with 190.050 and Indonesia finished third (186.850).
