Common Training Camp for AER Coaches held in Almaty

A five-day Common Training Camp for AER Coaches was held from July 2-6 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
It was a successful programme, which imparted technical and theoretical knowledge to the aspiring coaches.
The event was conducted by Desislava Bogusheva, who praised the facilities and support provided by the Asian Gymnastics Union.
“I was really impressed by the host federation. Thanks to Aigul (Dukenbayeva) for providing us with the excellent facilities. The gymnasium was amazing and was equipped with everything that’s required,” said Bogusheva, former Bulgarian aerobic gymnast and coach. “The accommodation and restaurant were in the same building. It helped us a lot as we were not affected by the weather conditions.”
Such training camps are an integral part of AGU’s goal to educate the coaches.
“I must also appreciate the work done by Tatyana Lebedkova. She was there all day and night to ensure that everything went off smoothly. Her stinted support at the gym was a real boost for the successful conduct of the programme,” added Bogusheva.
