India hosts maiden AGU Common Training Camp (TRA)

DOHA (QAT) AGU Office: A total of 31 coaches and 11 gymnasts took part in the AGU Common Training Camp for Trampoline Coaches that was held in Vadodara (IND) from March 13-17.
It was the first development program for trampoline that was hosted in the country by Gymnastics Federation of India (GFI).
“The GFI and LOC is thankful to the AGU for the opportunity to host the camp in India. GFI looks forward to host more such AGU programmes in India in the future,” the GFI said in a statement.
There was an encouraging interest from Asian federations to attend the camp, and 30 registrations were received (23 Coaches and 7 Gymnasts) from 11 countries other than the host.
The camp was conducted by AGU expert and FIG TC Member Ms Tatiana Shuyska at Shree C. A. Patel Learning Institute under the Shakti Krupa Charitable Trust which has invested heavily in the sport.
Jeetendra Patel, Trustee of Shakti Krupa Charitable Trust, led the organization of the Camp. He and his wife Mrs Meghna Patel (also a trustee) were present at the opening session and welcomed the AGU expert and participants.
The theory lecture hall was fully equipped with audio visual facility and the venue was a convenient one to have theory and practical sessions.
The LOC made special T-Shirts for participating coaches and gymnasts with AGU and Trampoline Gymnastics Logo.
