Chinese women win two gold in individual apparatus finals

DOHA (QAT) AGU Office: After the Chinese men won two gold medals from three on Friday, the women also maintained their domination in the WAG individual finals at the 8th Senior ART Asian Championships in Ulanbaatar (Mongolia) on Friday.
Lu Yufei won the Uneven Bars final with a determined effort that fetched her 14.267 points. Her team-mate Zhou Ruiyu (13.700) added the silver while Lee Eunju (KOR, 12.867) finished third.
Yu Linmin (14.350) added another gold to China’s kitty after she won the Vault final with 14.500 points.
Ayaka Sakaguchi (JPN, 13.584) and India’s Pranati Nayak (13.384) finished second and third respectively.
A total of 19 countries are taking part including 15 nations with full teams while Hong Kong, Jordan, Mongolia and Qatar have entered with individual gymnasts.
The remaining apparatuses finals will be held on the last day tomorrow.
