Malaysia’s Yan defends rhythmic all-around event

AGU Media, DOHA (QAT): Malaysia picked up their third gold in rhythmic gymnastics when Koi Sie Yan defended her individual all-around event at the 29th South East Asian (SEA) Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday.
The 18-year-old produced an impeccable performance in hoop, clubs, ball and ribbon apparatus to win the title with a combined score of 63.150 points.
Compatriot Amy Kwan Dict Weng took silver (60.100) while Singapore’s Tong Kah Mun finished third (52.900).
The hosts also added the 5 hoops gold, with Amira Sofiya Amirul Fares, Chan Mei Thung, Koh Jei Yi, Tee Wei Qi, Tee Wei Wen and Thew Yue Jia tasting the success followed by Singapore and the Philippines.
