Taipei’s Ting ends Chinese domination in WAG finals
DOHA (QAT) AGU Office: Chinese Taipei’s Ting Hua-Tien put an end to Chinese domination after she won the women’s Balance Beam final at the 8th Senior ART Asian Championships in Ulanbaatar (Mongolia) on Saturday.
Ting collected 13.233 points which fetched her the gold while Korea’s Lee Eunju (13.033) took the silver to push China’s Zhou Ruiyu (13.000) to third place.
China’s humiliation didn’t stop there as Japan’s Natsumi Hanashima collected the top honour in Floor Exercise final with 13.200 points.
Lee (KOR) capped a brilliant performance by winning her second medal on the final with a silver (13.167) while China’s Liu Jieyu finished third (13.133).
China ended their campaign in WAG competitions with four gold medals including two in individual finals and one each in Team and All-Around.
